Sales agents of Treechada cosmetic products at the Government House complaints centre in Bangkok early this month, when they complained about their lost investments in substandard products. After questioning the complainants and their witnesses it was decided to lay charges against Magic Skin Co, Hanew Korea Co, Korn Phuangson, Wanpa Phuangson, Treechada Jaisabai and Pajaree Wongsomboon. They would be charged with producing fake cosmetic products for sale, public fraud and computer crime for putting false information into a computer system, Pol Gen Wirachai said. Magic Skin had hired Hanew Korea to produce Treechada cosmetics, he said. It expected the court would order the assets be auctioned off to raise money for the damaged parties, deputy national police chief said.
